Sculpture Information

This stone had naturally formed from two blending stones. In one part I could see the female and in the rear of the stone I could see the  presence of ‘another’ form but I left her alone to celebrate her independence in  simply ‘being’.  Her strength comes from being her true self. I decided to call her ‘Essere’ which is the Italian verb ‘to be’ as it encompasses the whole range of descriptions of identity including existence, presence or essence. For me the ‘other’ is my faith.
