Touch is an adult hand with an index finger resting in the palm of a babies hand. This reminded me of my time in hospital when I had my son. He was in distress in the cot next to me. I reached out my hand and he clasped my finger and was instantly stilled.

This piece was shortlisted for the online IMPACT exhibition during Covid and was featured in the Church Times. It was very poignant as people were not permitted to touch those who were outside their ’bubble’ in case of infection.
This piece was purchased by a couple whose father died the same day as their grandson was born.
