This dove alabaster had surface brown veins that penetrated into the stone. I decided to keep the prominent veins and carve down between them to create a sphere. This gives an appearance of a sea creature or a human like brain-shape. This is why I called it Anthozoa as it has the appearance of a plant or an animal.
