I recently saw a painting of an ice cream on social media, and had two rocks sitting in the studio which would make a great ice cream combination.
I had also sadly wasted a piece of Ancaster Limestone that reminded me of baked waffle or oat biscuit and I also had some alabaster with chocolate veins (that I couldn’t find anything inside). Perfect!
Thank you to Darren of Park Gallery for the images.

The first ice cream I made appeared in the FRWA magazine after winning the FRWA selectors prize.

It was then selected for the Society of Women Artists at the Mall Galleries in London from 25th -29th June 2024. The Mall Galleries is the home of the Federation of British Artists (FBA), a visual arts charity founded in 1961.
A huge honour to exhibit here as they only accept 1 in 10 applicants.
